Description
A wonderful set of (3) candlesticks of varying heights designed by Pierre Forsell & made by Skultana, Sweden between 1960-1970.
Solid brass, tulip motif.
Timeless!

7.25 - 8.7" H x 2.3" Diameter
In 1955, Pierre Forssell (b. 1925 d.2004) joined the Swedish company Skultuna Messingsbruk in Stockholm as a designer, playing a pivotal role in elevating Skultuna's status during the 1960s. Founded in 1607 in Skultuna, Sweden, by King Karl IX as a brass foundry, Skultuna has remained a stalwart in Swedish glasswork and brass manufacturing. It stands as one of the world's oldest companies and continues its legacy as a supplier to the Royal Court of Sweden. Skultuna has upheld a tradition of producing high-quality items since its inception in 1607. -
