Staffordshire Pearlware Figure of the Widow

Description
Early Staffordshire pearlware figure of the Widow, seated on a rocky mound, her right hand holding sticks, her left hand resting on a barrel with an oil ewer beside it, her son standing at her side also holding sticks, mounted on a square base entitled “Widow.” She is colorfully dressed in a yellow outfit with a wide white sash and a purple and white cape. Unmarked but most likely by Ralph Wood.
