Description
A very fine quality large antique Japanese cloisonne tripod koro censer decorated with polychrome cloisonne enamel depicting stylized phoenix birds, paulownia and chrysanthemum flowers, the top rim and lid are decorated with meander bands and floral motifs. Meiji era, 1868 to 1912. This is a perfect example of Meiji era Japanese cloisonne. Asian Metal Ware Pieces, Antique Japanese Vases And Enamel Collectibles.
