  • Description
    Large vase on pedestal, decorated with faun heads, in Sarreguemines enameled earthenware.
    Covered in flamed cobalt-blue enamel, the grips in the shape of faun heads are gilded with gold, as are the neck of the vase and the bottom of the pedestal.
    The interior is covered with turquoise-blue enamel. Embossed « Sarreguemines 565 E 21 » under the base.

    Sarreguemines earthenware is a ceramic production that developed from 1790 to 2007 in the French town of Sarreguemines.
