Trio of Brutalist-style graduated candleholders by famed metalsmith, Thomas Roy Markusen, who was previously commissioned to create a pair of candle-holders for the White House collection of contemporary crafts.
Composed of blackened copper pillars with nickel-plated faceted centers (ca. late 1970s, USA).
A couple sides of the nickel center show scuffs and slight indentations. There is a scuff to the blackened copper portion of one of the candlesticks along with a small dent, as shown. Overall, in good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and materials.
Signed with artist's initials, B&C N Plate, 107.
