Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a young Miss Florence Nightingale, stood on an oval base. The piece is titled, 'MISS NIGHTINGALE'. Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front. Vent hole to the reverse. Book reference ,'Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875' Book 1, by A.& N. Harding, page 99, figure 235.

Condition:	Good. Good. Two small flakes to front of dress. Tiny abrasion to nose. Minor rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: a few glaze misses to reverse of her dress; kiln soot caught in the glaze to reverse of right arm. Shrinkage line down pillar on side.
