Stephen Huneck,"Big Red Bird", 1994. signed and dated
This one-of-a-kind oversized huge sculpture was a commission done by Huneck for a particular client.
It is a hand-carved and painted log with a wooden tail extension, cast iron legs, and a resin log on a natural wooden tree branch formation as a base.
Huneck was a folk art artist based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. He had a large following of enthusiastic fans and collectors. -
