Description
Tapio Wirkkala has been awarded a great number of Triennale awards, gold medals and special recognitions. He is internationally acclaimed and has used a number of different materials in his designs including glass, wood, plywood, silver and ceramics.
This silver vase TW 226 was manufactured in three different sizes with 2-, 3- or 4 parts. This particular vase is the one with 3 parts. The shift in the texture makes this piece especially nice.
This piece is signed and in good condition without any flaws. It can simply be a used as decorative object, or even used as a flower vase if one so wishes.
