Trench Art Anti Aircraft Deck Gun Model WWII
-
Description
This is a model of an anti aircraft gun from the Second World War, 1940's. These were often made by military machine operators from found pieces of scrap metal during their spare time. This gun is very detailed & beautifully crafted. It is mounted on a solid wood base, the gun is made from a combination of brass & steel. Some people refer to this as 'Trench Art'. It can be directed upwards by turning the operating wheel on the side & it can be swiveled. Really exceptional workmanship. The base is approximately 8" in diameter & the barrel can be extended upwards to a height of 11" the breech is removable. A very decorative kinetic model for the office desk or den.
