Description
Two Ottoman Iznik border tiles, circa 1600, each of rectangular form, the glazed fritware painted in underglaze turquoise, cobalt blue, black and terracotta red with a continuous band of leafy arabesque scrolls enclosing flowerheads, with turquoise borders, mounted. Turkish, c1600.
