This gorgeous Mid Century Modern vase was realized by the fabled atelier, Vistosi, in Murano Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- circa 1960. Featuring an urn form body with curved shoulders that wrap around the base of the piece. The interior form is replete with an abundance of yellow and rose gold flecks that glitter when caught by the light. With its idiosyncratic form and beautiful glass quality, this vase promises to beautify any surface that it graces. While it is a perfectly functional vase- ideal for storing flowers- it is also an objet d'art in its own right that would be a winning addition atop any occasional table or etagere. Excellent condition. Signed "Murano Vistosi" on the base.
