Highly collectible and important design by Walter Von Nessen who and developed many of the streamline household collectible items that today have become emblematic of what is considered some of the best of American Art Deco . In nice original condition, the Bakelite has a deep red/burgandy color and of course these bookends are marked with Chase logo appropriately.
