Willem Verbon (1921 - 2003) was a Dutch sculptor.
He made this sculpture in 1967, a year before the death of Kees Van Dongen, in his house in Monte Carlo.
He ordered this first bronze cast in 1968, after realizing the plaster sculpture in 1967.
