A luxurious example from the prolific looms of the Oushak region in Western Turkey, with brilliant colors, woven in shiny angora (mohair), the hair of the local angora goats. The design is inspired by prayer rugs, enlarged to represent a heavenly garden. Wonderful details, great colors, a very nice example and a rare find.
