This circa-1910 antique Sultanabad rug features an allover design of multicolored arabesques, floral abstractions and scrolling floral vinery in shades of brick, green, rose, beige and ivory against a sage field. The composition is framed by a classic cloudband cartouche border and flanked with inner and outer floral guard bands. With its Classic formal design, well-harmonized color palette, and graceful floral motifs, this antique Persian rug would be a resplendent and welcome addition to nearly any interior.
