An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. The border and field are both well abrashed on this decorative NW Persian town room size carpet. The buff field supports a close rendering of the “Vase carpet” pattern of tilted and upright palmettes accented in slate and C medium brown while the sand border displays ragged and petalled palmettes.
