Description
Aubusson rugs are admired amongst art collectors and rug aficionados for their effortless chick and masterfully composed color palettes. Like all European rugs, Aubusson carpets rely on elegant patterns and forms to draw the attention.
This beautiful Aubusson rug is a real feast for the eyes. Handmade circa 1850, this rug is more than just a piece of decor - it is history. The rug's pattern depicts an elaborate composition, inspired by Versailles. It brings together wonderful floral motifs and richly ornamented borders. The color palette of this piece contains delicate pastel shades of beige, pink and green, with some elements of gold and black. Rug's size, 17'3" × 21'8" (525 × 660 cm), will make it a perfect addition to spacious interiors.
Here at Doris Leslie Blau we pay especially close attention to the quality of our contemporary rugs, as we desire to present those looking for a perfect addition to their household with only the best of custom carpets. If you find yourself in a need of a modern rug, which is both original and elegant, look no further! Doris Leslie Blau's acclaimed collection of and contemporary carpets has found fans even in the best interior design magazines, such as Architectural Digest.
