Doris Leslie Blau Collection Ivan Da Silva-Bruhns Inspired Large Art Deco Rug

$ 25,000
  • Description
    This Art Deco rug draws largely from the best traditions of Art Deco. It is characterized by angular elegance which radiates from every inch of the woolen, soft pile. The well thought-out geometric design is reflected on diagonally opposite sides of the field. The only difference hides in color of the two corner rectangular elements - this minute interruption of otherwise identical pattern introduces an intriguing stir to the whole balanced composition. The background of beige is a perfect setting for multicolored polygons and zigzag motifs. Perfect in its texture and design, the mid century modern rug will match both classic and modern interiors. Art Deco rugs are the embodiment of the modernist progressive thought with the preservation of the finest weaving traditions and centuries-long techniques, providing Deco rugs with a classic and luxurious feel. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
