This traditional hand-woven Irish Donegal rug has a shaded bottle-green field with a counterposed design of angular vines issuing palmettes and open palmettes enclosing multiple flowering plants, in a light green border of delicate radiating flowerhead vines linking polychrome palmettes between sandy-yellow and brick-red flowerhead vine stripes, plain outer bottle-green stripe.
