Finnish Rag Rug by Eija Rasinmaki

$ 18,000
  • Description
    A vintage Finnish rag rug designed by Eija Rasinmaki dating back to circa 1980. It displays an ombre and abstarct floral design in earth tones of dark brown, beige, gray and ivory. Scandinavian rag rugs are part of Swedish cultural heritage. You can see them adorning the cottages in Astrid Lindgren's fantastic stories but also in today's modern homes. These rugs are an obvious part of Scandinavian interior design.
    Beautiful carefully hand woven rugs in different colors and patterns. Made from recycled clothes, tablecloths and old sheets. When you look at the details of each rug, you can see that the weave is created from different fabrics, all recycled with great respect for the value of the materials.
