Description
An early 20th century Persian Heriz antique rug displays a characteristic geometric eight-lobed medallion with vines and palmettes, stylized floral and geometric motifs. The composition is framed by an ample border of angular leaves, flower-heads and the two narrow -inner and outer- floral meandering borders. The color palette consists of red, blue, dark blue, navy, beige and pink.
