Description
The early 20th century antique Tabriz Persian rug features a strikingly elegant all-over palmette trellis design containing floral abstractions, arabesques, scrolling leafy vinery and stylized palmettes in shades of light blue, beige and taupe against a brown field. The carpet is completed by a multiple border containing enlarged palmettes, meandering floral vines, leaves and other oriental ornaments.
