This contemporary Swedish flat-weave wool rug manages to look elegant, while losing nothing of its rustic charm. Flat-woven using the highest quality materials, the modern rug draws attention thanks to its geometric and irricate pattern. The central field features an all-over checkered design, bordered by a multiple narrow bands and much more decorative frame consisting of small crosses. The color palette of this piece includes mostely shades beige, blue, green and yellow. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of modern rugs inspired by mid-century Swedish designs. We stay true to the legendary tradition of Scandinavian craftsmanship by hand-weaving flatweave wool Rölakan rugs and wool pile Rya rugs that are very close in looks and feel to the original ones.
