A mid-century, Swedish flatweave wool rug made by Ingegerd Silow with woven initials (IS) at a lower corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. The design is traditional Scandinavian with a grid of stylized geometric floral shapes. The color palette consists of beige, brown, gold, gray, green and yellow. The Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
