A mid-century Swedish flat-weave wool rug by Sveker Greuholm with woven initials (SG) at a lower corner. It is in excellent original condition, consistent with age. It displays three rows of stepped medallions with crosses, linked with each other on a striped and rectangle background. The rug is rendered in beige, blue, brown, gold, taupe and yellow accents. The Scandinavian style enchants with its unpretentious elegance.
