A great example of this type, the kind that made the looms of Oushak famous throughout the world. Art Nouveau inspired design - the best examples of Oushak weaving display the close interaction between Oriental carpet production and the aesthetic movements in the West. Original soft color palette, wonderful wool, probably angora blend, great patina and handle, all in a remarkable state of preservation.
