A very handsome antique Persian carpet from the city of Tabriz, one of the most prolific weaving centers of Iran throughout history. A very pleasing interpretation of a classic design that goes back to the 16th century, combined with an unusually light color palette, featuring a green border; all making this a very special example of its kind.
