Description
This exquisitely achieved Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Bowl in Viridian with Fish Motif is rendered by the esteemed glass artist Alfredo Barbini and originates from Italy, Circa 1950. Featuring a round composition with a wide lip in stunning viridian green, the piece is rendered in the highest quality Murano glass with a stunning hue and incredible precision, particularly of the fish motif within the basin of the piece. Brilliantly balancing the use of color, natural reference, and exquisite attention to detail in the proportions of the bowl and the rendering of the fish, this Bowl is a brilliant example of Alfredo Barbini's esteemed practice, highly coveted and admired from the time of production to this day. Styling beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors, this piece is in Excellent Vintage Condition.
