Alvin Sterling Overlay clear Glass Jug Pitcher, C. 1900. Large size tapered cylindrical, with thick applied sterling silver overlay, reticulated and engraved scrolling vine, central vacant cartouche. Rubbed Alvin Corp marks to base rim 999/1000 fine and design number. Height: 10.25 inches. Diameter at base: 4 inches. Width: 5.50 inches. Condition: good. No loss to silver and glass clean.
