Description
Victorian Rococo sterling silver baby cup. Made by Edward, John & William Barnard in London in 1848. Baluster bowl on raised foot; high-looping branch handle with leaf-and-berry mount. Engraved leafing scroll frames with scenes of cherubs strumming harps and hanging a wreath around a flagpole hung with a quiver. One frame vacant for recording the consequences of all that lovey-doveyness. Fully marked. Very good condition.
