French Restauration Classical 950 silver coffeepot, ca 1815. Ovoid bowl on 3 leaf-mounted paw supports. S-scroll spout with cast animal-head spout. Cover hinged and raised with berry finial mounted to leaf surround. Stained-wood bracket handle with silver leaf mount. Acanthus leaf, leaf-and-dart, and beaded borders.

Fineness stamps include the one introduced by the Association des Orfèvres in 1790s and the Paris stamp (1809-1819) as well as maker’s stamp (NRM). Very good condition.

Overall dimensions: H 9 5/8 x W 6 5/8 x D 4 1/4 in. Gross weight: 19.5 troy ounces. #CA560
