    An antique footed Japanese, Meiji era, enamel over copper tazza bowl. The exterior of the ware is covered with polychrome enamel panels with blossoming flowers surrounded by floral, foliage, foliate scroll, and swirl ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The interior is adorned with a polychrome image of a bird seated on branches with blossoming flowers surrounded by swirl, geometrical patterns and panels with flowers on the sides made in the same technique. The bases are decorated with a scaly motif made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: late 18th century to early 19th century.
