On offer for your consideration we have an exciting ceramic bowl/plate designed in 1924 by Elisabeth Dörr for Bauhaus Velten-Vordamm.
Elisabeth Dörr made her studies at the academy from 1924 to 1927 and later became the artistic assistant and successor to Charlotte Hartmann at Steingutfabriken Velten-Vordamm.
The colors are blue, gray on the rim with rose and blue modernist decoration in the center.
Designs like this were what the Bauhaus was striving for in the 1920's a total break from all early traditional design.
