English Georgian sterling silver coffee and tea set, 1971-72. This set comprises coffeepot, teapot, creamer, and sugar. Coffeepot conical and teapot baluster; covers domed and hinged, spouts capped s-form as are stained-wood handles. Creamer baluster with capped double-scroll handle and u-spout. Sugar round and curved; cover raised with octagonal handle. Faceted. An inspiring example of keeping up tradition in a time of radical change.

Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Richard Comyns), retailer’s stamp (Cartier), assay stamp (London), and date letters 1971 (coffeepot and sugar) and 1972 (teapot and creamer).
