Art Deco Champagne or Wine bucket by Luc Lanel
-
Description
Important and rare champagne or wine bucket made by Christofle and designed by Luc Lanel. The design is referred to as the circular patten: “Ondulations”! It is quite popular and echoes the same desgin from 1930s which was made for the 1st class of the S.S. Normandie French ocean liner. In fact, this model is even more rare with the macassar round wooden handles which has a stunning look in (also with circles) in contrast to the gleaming silver-plate metal.
