Christofle Luc Lanel Normandie Art Deco Ondulations Champagne Bucket
Item #3760
“But first, some fine Champagne!” chilled to perfection in this sleek and elegant champagne bucket, designed by Luc Lanel and produced by the renowned French company Christofle. The pattern, known as “Ondulations,” was originally created for the First Class dining room and the Grand Bar of the illustrious ocean liner, the S.S. Normandie. The ship, an epitome of Art Deco design, showcased this exquisite piece.
The champagne bucket is highly collectible and represents one of the most sought-after items of its era. The bottom of the piece bears the silversmith maker’s mark “Christofle,” dating circa 1930. The condition is excellent, and it looks striking as you serve your best champagne or wine. We also have a matching cocktail shaker listed separately on our site.
