Description
This is a pair of whimsical figural Cigar Table Lighters, made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths of Regent Street, London, England, c. 1906. A very unusual pair, modeled in sterling silver as morphed humanized figural champagne bottles. (They have feet & faces.)
Fully hallmarked for London , 1906 and in their original box. They do not show any use, but one has a small dent (See right figure in the box in photo # 2). The box had some spots of wear that someone touched up. Each lighter measures approximately 3 3/4" high. Exceptionally rare and hard-to-find smoking collectible. -
