Large round ceramic centerpiece/vessel. Beginning with a ball of clay, Salusti pinches it into the desired shape of her vessels and textures them with stone fragments. After multiple firings, this piece was lustered with platinum. Its volcanic-like rough exterior contrasts with the smoothness of the inside, which attracts and contains ambient light, giving it a spiritual presence. -
