Description
A large rectangular wood tray designed by Don Shoemaker and handcrafted by SEN?AL, S.A. Mexico circa 1950. Using exotic local wood in Mexico such as Cocobolo, Shoemaker designed and manufactured his signature collection of furniture as well as smaller accessories. The tray is made from alternative strips of dark wood (cocobolo) and light maple with natural grains, beatifically joined together to create a geometrical design. The base retains the original paper sticker as shown.
