French Neoclassical style seven-piece coffee and tea set
French, late 19th Century
Fountain: Height 44cm, width 16cm, depth 22cm
Small jug: Height 13cm, width 12.5cm, depth 8cm
This beautiful Neoclassical style French service includes seven pieces: a large and elegant tea fountain, a coffee press, a chocolatier, a beautiful tea pot, and a jug for milk and two smaller bowls. The silver throughout is superbly shaped, while the handles—of ebonised wood and ivory—accent in colour the glistening silver. The pieces feature the French Minerva mark as well as marks for several makers. -
