Danish Modern sterling silver tazza compote. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Wide and tapering bowl; applied fruiting grapevine with cast pendant bunches encircling underside. Twisted shaft between lobed knops with applied bunches and beading. Raised and round foot. Visible hand hammering. An early piece in this pattern, which was designed by the master in 1918. Fully marked including maker’s stamps (1925-32) and pattern no. 264. Very good condition.
