Edwardian Classical sterling silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1900. Bellied and ovoid on raised foot. Scrolling leaf-wrapped egg-and-dart rim interspersed with leaves and beaded ovals (vacant); lion heads at ends. On sides garlands and leafing-scroll frames (vacant) as well as leaf-capped pilasters with paw terminals on leaf-and-dart foot rim. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date symbol, and no. 117. Very good condition.
