Description
In 1960 Gorham Manufacturing Company introduced Circa '70 , a contemporary sterling silver hollowware collection and a exemplar of advanced styling. Circa '70 was the conception of Donald H. Coldflesh, staff designer for Gorham Manufacturing Company. This is the Circa '70 Delta triangular bowl . It is poised on three feet with ebony tips. Space travel was the source of his inspiration. It is featured on page 258 figure 13.6 of "Modernism in American Silver" by Jewel Stern.
