Antique English Victorian Sterling Silver & Cut Rock-Crystal Decanter

Description
Victorian sterling silver and cut rock-crystal decanter. Made by John Grinsell & Sons in Birmingham in 1892. Globular crystal bowl with flowers and leaves strewn among twisted gadroons and rinceaux. Neck in sterling silver collar with v-spout; cover hinged and raised with lobed finial and high-looping handle. Silver ornament same as well as armorial cartouche (vacant). Silver fully marked. Very good condition with deep patina.
