A fine quality Japanese cloisonne covered koro or incense burner, Meiji era, 1868 to 1912. The piece features cloisonne handles and cover. The exterior is decorated with various designs including floral motifs and takara-mono - precious things- symbols of wealth, longevity, wisdom, beauty, harmony, purity, and protection from ill-omen.
