Large Tang-Style Terracotta Ewer
-
Description
This is a stunning large Chinese Glazed Terracotta Dragon-Form Ewer. The Double Dragons are cast in fine detail. The ewer derives its inspiration from pottery of the Tang Dynasty; this item most probably dates to the late 19th c. or early 20th century. The brilliant application of the glaze, combined with the large size and fine modeling makes this a stand out eye-catcher. The ewer is in very good condition with no faults noted. This piece would integrate into mid-centry design, as well as earlier design aesthetics.
