Description
A Large Italian Silver Pumpkin Soup Tureen And Ladle by Mario Buccellati, Milan, 20th Century.
This exceptional Mario Buccellati silver pumpkin soup tureen is a remarkable display of masterful Italian silversmithing. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the tureen is formed in a highly realistic pumpkin shape, complete with a lifelike lift-off lid adorned with two delicately sculpted silver leaves.
The incorporated ladle, elegantly protruding from beneath the lid, adds both charm and functionality to this striking piece making it a perfect centerpiece for elegant dining occasions. The ladle, with a looped terminal, mirrors the artistry of the tureen, and both pieces are marked inside the base and on the ladle with "M. BUCCELLATI ITALY 925."
