Midcentury Classical silver dish. Cast seashell with striations and irregularities; bottom encrusted with two conch supports. Realistic marine life wrought in precious metal. Marks include 1944-1968 maker’s stamp, fineness stamp (800), and phrase “M. Buccellati / Italy”. Very good condition with deep patina.

Approximate overall dimensions: H 2 3/4 x W 6 1/2 x D 4 1/4 in. Heavy weight: 29 troy ounces. #CA585
