MID 18TH CENTURY STAR SHAPED CHARGER, MOUSTIERS

Star shaped platter or centrepiece in blue and white faience 'fine' for display on a dining table. Decorated in camaïeu bleu in the manner of Bérain. With an armed soldier after the antique in the centre surrounded by mystical figures and animals. The raised edge with lace
decoration. The whole standing on three paw feet. Moustiers, France circa 1750.
