This boldly scaled and patterned Mid-Century Modernist Tray W/ Ancient Coin Pattern is by Fornasetti and origiantes from Italy, Circa 1950. Features rounded corners with two bullet form openings on either end serving as handles, with ornate and precisely achieved patterning of overlapping golden coins covering up a deeply hued scarlet base color. A dynamic piece ideally scaled for serving or styling additional accessories, this tray will go well with a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
